“XSYS will have a strong presence at Labelexpo in Chicago where we will demonstrate our advanced solutions for the flexo tag & label market alongside our long-term partner, Anderson & Vreeland,” stated Eric Gibbs, Director of Sales in North America. “From printing plates, imagers, and processors to dedicated software, sleeves and adapters, XSYS covers the whole prepress process with products that can make a real difference. Anderson & Vreeland’s comprehensive regional coverage and systems-based approach to flexo printing perfectly complement our offering, helping us to deliver even greater value to our customers in North America.”
Anderson & Vreeland has been the distributor for XSYS in the US and Canada since 2004, meaning the partnership celebrates its 20th anniversary at the show. Technical experts and sales support from both companies will be available to discuss specific requirements and identify the right solutions for tag & label converters. With over 60 years of experience, Anderson & Vreeland has consistently been at the forefront of flexo developments driven by its commitment to provide the most effective and advanced technologies. This dedication – and the mission to educate its customers on how they can improve their bottom line through the seamless integration of these technologies – align fully with the goals of XSYS.
Booth 929 will have live demos of the ThermoFlexX 30 imager and nyloflex® Xpress Thermal Processor, key elements in XSYS’ platemaking system which also includes the nyloflex® thermal printing plate portfolio, developer rolls and waste recovery program. As an end-to-end workflow, the nyloflex® Xpress system offers numerous benefits for the tag & label market, making the platemaking process faster and more efficient. Supporting customers in meeting brand owner and end user demands for sustainability, high quality, quicker turnaround, and lower costs, it delivers a very competitive TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). On the plate front, highlights will include nyloflex® FTV and newly launched nyloflex® eco ACT solvent-based options. A recent introduction to the market, the nyloflex® FTV Digital plate has been developed for high-end printing to offer exceptional and consistent quality with finest highlight dots.
The latest software developments – ThermoFlexX EcoFill and Catena ProServX – will also be showcased; both developed to improve efficiency and sustainability. EcoFill is an innovative software feature for ThermoFlexX imagers that significantly reduces washout solvent usage by targeting the non-image areas. Catena ProServX is a cloud-based, real-time equipment monitoring tool for proactive maintenance and superior quality control. Providing precise data on equipment performance, energy use, and consumables, it drives informed decision-making, helping to optimize OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), ensure quality, and reduce waste. XSYS will also be keen to discuss the capabilities and roadmap of its rotec® line of sleeves and adapters which is being further expanded with the new rotec® eco family of sleeves.
Labelexpo remains a firm fixture in the calendar for XSYS; an event which presents not only a great opportunity to meet customers face to face but also to network and be part of the conversation. Team member Kiersten Borden will sit on a panel on September 11 at 3:30pm, when the Women of Flexo association takes to the Innovation Stage. The panel will discuss real-life experiences of being a woman in the industry and hear valuable insights from the members’ own journeys.
“As a global leader in flexo platemaking and printing solutions, it is important for XSYS to stay involved in important events such as Labelexpo and to take part in discussions that help shape the future of our community. We always seek to nurture all our industry relationships while staying up to date with the latest market trends and industry developments to support our customers,” concluded Gibbs.
